Meeting Chahat was serendipitous. I ponder over her thoughts, gazing at the moon. The moon which expectantly resembles her, serene just like her calm and peaceful eyes, that brought calm to my chaos. The luminous glow on her face whenever I tease her. The ethereal beauty of her, which always captured my heart. The resplendent appearance of how she always manages to look magnificent.
I stood gazing out the window at the moon, yearning to behold my own moon reflected within its glow. My hands, interlocked behind my back, seemed to strive in quiet desperation to still the tempest of emotions surging within me. The shawl, draped with careless indifference across my shoulders, made a feeble and failing effort to shield me from the biting cold. My eyes, reddened and inflamed, burned with unrest yet their tears had not ceased, refusing still to dry.
